It’s spring, the air is crisp the sun is warm and the flowers, they are bloomin’! Spring is such a beautiful time of year to get carried away with the flowers around your home. There are so many gorgeous floral varieties available this time of year – we say leave it to the professionals to get in your home and bring some spring in! Don’t be afraid of color - purples, pinks, dusty lavender and the most beautiful greenery is all waiting to be lusted over at the store right now- not to mention the smell, it’s divine.
We love the opportunities that come with spring – fresh blooms, garden soirees, old friends, new friends and *finally* patios! Our clients have the most incredible homes: the architecture, impeccable. The décor, flawless. The perfectly placed collections of trinkets found throughout travel, art acquired through the finest institutions & the light exposure just right– it’s no secret why we love what we do. We are so lucky to create and design floral for some of the most beautiful homes in Dallas & when our clients say “do what you think will look great!” - well, we just love it when that happens!
One of our favorite spots for floral in the home is the breakfast room, the bright sunlight, exquisite wood table with the blue & white compote set in the center- it’s begging to be filled with bundles of lush, spring blooms.
Along with the breakfast room we absolutely adore small pops of color in unexpected spots- hallway powder rooms, small cloche covered floral on the bar cart & simple structured succulents set on the chrome table next to the leather chair in the office.
Once you’ve worked your way through the inside home, you’ve likely come to the spot that makes you exhale: the patio. A lot of people shy away from doing too much on a patio most likely because you’re afraid to compete with the natural surroundings. We simply feel that on a patio, less is less and more is more fabulous! We love accenting a patio with lush ferns, Spanish moss and small details on side tables, mantles and coffee tables alike – trust us, you will have just found your new favorite spot for a cup of coffee *and* glass of wine.
We hope you take the time this spring to take some time letting the outside in andfor a little bit of time, out.
